Three major automotive dealerships — JCB, WR Davies, and Available Car — have adopted Comentis’ Financial Vulnerability Assessment tool to identify and support vulnerable customers. The tool aligns with the FCA’s drivers of vulnerability and Consumer Duty regulation, providing a systematic approach developed with input from mental health specialists.

The tool helps dealerships establish a clear audit trail and comply with regulatory standards. It supports sales teams in recognizing vulnerability, providing a structured approach to customer interactions, and safeguarding consumers and dealerships from scrutiny. Simon Proudler, MD at Available Car, highlighted the importance of using reliable data to enhance customer service.

Comentis CEO Jonathan Barrett emphasized the tool’s role in simplifying the identification process for automotive professionals. The platform removes the complexity of manual assessments, ensuring compliance and providing appropriate customer support. Dealerships aim to better support customers throughout their purchasing journey with this technology.
