The Dow Jones Industrial Average turned positive, outperforming the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite. The Dow was up 121 points, or 0.3%, erasing earlier losses. In contrast, the S&P 500 was down 0.4% and the Nasdaq Composite slid 1.3%. Market breadth was decent, with around 300 S&P 500 stocks rising, but large tech stocks weighed down the S&P and Nasdaq. The Dow held up well due to its lower exposure to these tech stocks.
