Flourish, a RIA technology platform, announced its acquisition of Sora Finance, a liability-optimization fintech. The terms of the deal were not disclosed, but Sora will operate independently for about 12 months while Flourish designs a combined deposit and lending solution for advisors. The integrated solution will focus on residential real estate financing. The acquisition will allow advisors to actively manage assets and liabilities, positioning them to compete with wirehouses in offering comprehensive financial services. The deal is part of Flourish’s strategy to help advisors serve clients with a robust lending solution.
