Foremost Clean Energy Ltd. (NASDAQ: FMST) announces an 8-hole ~2,000-metre diamond drill program at Hatchet Uranium Property in Saskatchewan. The 2024 drill program revealed uranium mineralization at Richardson trend and Tuning Fork Conductor. The 2025 program aims to expand known mineralization and test high-potential areas. CEO Jason Barnard highlights uranium’s importance in meeting global energy demands and the need for new discoveries.
The 2025 drill program at Hatchet will target 4-6 high-potential locations in the Tuning Fork and Richardson areas. The program, funded and permitted, will focus on areas with confirmed uranium mineralization, untested conductive anomalies, and under-tested conductive trends. Ten priority targets have been identified for drill testing.
In the Richardson target area, drill hole RL-24-29 intersected uranium mineralization along with anomalous values. The Tuning Fork target area saw significant structural disruption, hydrothermal alteration, and potential pathfinder elements indicative of a uranium-mineralizing system in drill holes TF-24-11 and TF-24-12. The program will also target over 400 meters of untested conductor strike length in the Tuning Fork area.
Hatchet Uranium Property is a strategic asset spanning 10,211 hectares in the Athabasca Basin, a prolific uranium producing region. Foremost holds an option to earn up to 51% interest in the property, with shallow depths and proximity to infrastructure making it an attractive exploration site. Historical exploration has confirmed uranium mineralization, structural controls, and hydrothermal alteration.
Foremost has engaged LFG Equities Corp. for a marketing campaign to enhance market awareness and attract new investors. The campaign aims to increase visibility through social media, online media placements, and newsletter distribution. The Company’s uranium and lithium projects in the Athabasca Basin region and Manitoba/Quebec are positioned for growth in the clean energy sector.
