Geely Auto debuts Coolray SUV in Vietnam, marking entry into the Southeast Asian market. The company plans a diverse product portfolio with models like Monjaro luxury SUV and Geely EX5 electric SUV. Nine models, including ICE, PHEV, and BEV, will cater to local market needs over the next three years.

In a strategic move, Geely forms an alliance with Vietnam’s Tasco Group to build a $168m automotive assembly facility in Thai Binh Province. The plant, set to start production by late 2026, will initially produce 75,000 vehicles annually, starting with Geely and Lynk & Co models.

Geely Auto also launched the Geely EX5 in the Indonesian market, featuring advanced technologies like short blade battery and GEA. The company aims to expand its presence in Southeast Asia with a focus on electric vehicles. The move aligns with Geely’s global vision for sustainable mobility solutions.
