President Donald Trump announced plans for a crypto strategic reserve in early March, including bitcoin, ether, XRP, solana, and cardano. The government already owns 200,000 bitcoin worth $17 billion. Five years ago, buying $1,000 of bitcoin would now be worth $13,600. Other cryptos have also seen significant growth.
