London & Capital (L&C) and Waverton Investment Management are merging to form W1M, consolidating under one brand. The new firm will be headquartered at 16 Babmaes Street, London, SW1Y 6AH, by the end of 2025 with over £21bn ($27bn) in assets under management, becoming one of the UK’s largest wealth managers.

W1M aims to become the leading wealth and investment manager for high net worth clients, charities, and institutions. The merger combines the strengths of both firms to offer a wide range of services including advisory capabilities, investment management, tax services, and access to experts to meet clients’ complex needs.

The investment philosophy of both firms will continue in W1M, led by William Dinning as Chief Investment Officer. The new firm will also maintain partnerships with Independent Financial Advisers, providing top investment solutions. W1M’s CEO, Guy McGlashan, highlights the integration of two exceptional businesses into one unified firm to benefit clients worldwide.

The rebranding of London & Capital and Waverton as W1M marks the beginning of a new chapter for the combined entity.
