From Nasdaq: 2025-03-10 21:29:30

The Indonesia stock market ended a three-day winning streak, with the Jakarta Composite Index falling beneath 6,600 points amid global recession fears. The JCI closed 0.57% lower on Monday, dragged down by financial and resource stocks. Oil prices hit a six-month low at $66.03 a barrel. Wall Street also saw losses, with the Dow, NASDAQ, and S&P 500 all closing lower. Concerns about economic growth and corporate earnings persist, as U.S. President Trump’s tariff actions on Mexico, Canada, and China raise fears of a recession. The market remains cautious ahead of key economic data releases later in the week.
