Northern Trust Asset Management (NTAM) appoints Tim Brown as the new head of UK sales, based in London. Brown will lead the sales strategy and collaborate with the asset servicing team to enhance NTAM’s UK presence. He brings over 25 years of industry experience, previously working at Dimensional Fund Advisors.

Brown will work closely with Michelle Inskip, head of consultant relations for EMEA, and report to Rutger Maenen, head of sales for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. NTAM president Lyenda Delp welcomes Brown, highlighting recent hires across international teams to grow regional capabilities and services. The appointment follows NTAM’s expansion of its global quant strategies team in Amsterdam.

NTAM’s total assets under custody/administration reached $16.79tn as of December 2024, a 9% increase year-on-year. Assets under management also rose to $1.61tn, marking a 12% increase from December 2023. Clive Bellows, Northern Trust president for Europe, Middle East and Africa, emphasizes Brown’s experience will further enhance the firm’s expertise and talent across their regional franchise.
