Stocks were mixed, with Tesla and Nvidia falling, Dollar Tree and Nintendo rising

U.S. stocks were mixed on Wednesday, with the Nasdaq falling 0.9%, S&P 500 dropping 0.3%, and Dow Jones adding 129 points. Tesla and Nvidia both fell over 3%. Economic concerns were raised as core durable goods orders fell 0.3% in February. Federal Reserve speakers include Neel Kashkari and Alberto Musalem. Chewy’s stock fell 0.5% despite exceeding estimates, while Dollar Tree gained 4.2% after selling its Family Dollar unit for $1 billion. GameStop surged 12% after amending its investment policy to include Bitcoin, and Nintendo ADRs rose 4.4% on news of the Switch 2 console release.
