NVIDIA establishes NVIDIA Accelerated Quantum Research Center in Boston to advance quantum computing with AI supercomputers

NVIDIA is establishing a research center in Boston, known as the NVIDIA Accelerated Quantum Research Center (NVAQC), to advance quantum computing by integrating quantum hardware with AI supercomputers. Collaborating with innovators like Quantinuum and QuEra Computing, the NVAQC will tackle challenges in quantum computing, such as qubit noise and practical device transformation. The center will use state-of-the-art NVIDIA GB200 NVL72 systems for complex simulations and low-latency hardware control algorithms. By leveraging the NVIDIA CUDA-Q™ platform, researchers will develop new hybrid quantum algorithms and applications to propel quantum innovation. Operations are expected to start later this year.
