Pembina Pipeline surpasses earnings estimates but sees a decrease in sales.

Pembina Pipeline Corporation (PBA) reported Q4 earnings per share of 66 cents, beating the consensus estimate of 59 cents. Revenues decreased 15.4% to $1.5 billion. Operating cash flow increased 2.5% to C$902 million, and adjusted EBITDA reached C$1,254 million. The company declared a cash dividend of 69 Canadian cents per share for Q1 2025. PBA’s debt-to-EBITDA ratio was 3.5. For 2025, Pembina expects adjusted EBITDA between C$4.2-4.5 billion and debt-to-EBITDA between 3.3-3.6 times. PBA’s segmental earnings and volumes also showed positive growth in Q4.
Other energy companies, including The Williams Companies, Cheniere Energy, and TC Energy Corporation, also reported their Q4 earnings. The Williams Companies beat earnings estimates with adjusted EPS of 47 cents, but revenues of $2.7 billion missed expectations. Cheniere Energy reported adjusted EPS of $4.33, beating estimates, while TC Energy beat earnings estimates with adjusted EPS of 75 cents. Each company showed mixed performance in various segments, with TC Energy also increasing its quarterly dividend to 85 Canadian cents per share.
