On Wednesday, the KLCI saw a slight increase, led by telecoms while industrials weakened. The index closed at 1,518.05 after gaining 4.45 points. In the U.S., major averages dropped, with the NASDAQ falling over 2% due to uncertainty over new tariffs on auto imports. Oil prices rose on supply concerns and efforts to limit Venezuelan and Iranian oil exports.
