Singapore stock market expected to open higher after global markets end positively

The Singapore stock market ended a two-day winning streak, with the Straits Time Index just above 3,835 points. Global markets are upbeat, with the STI finishing slightly lower on Friday. CapitaLand Integrated Commercial Trust and Wilmar International saw gains, while SembCorp Industries and Keppel Ltd saw losses. Wall Street ended positively, with the Dow up 1.65 percent, NASDAQ up 2.61 percent, and S&P 500 up 2.13 percent. Oil prices rose after U.S. sanctions on Iranian oil. Singapore will release February non-oil domestic exports data, following a 3.3 percent month-on-month decline in January.
