Wall Street saw a slight decrease in activity on Tuesday, with the S&P 500 down 0.1% and the Dow down 100 points. The Nasdaq Composite, however, was up 0.1%. Traders remained quiet due to the lack of major news events, with total composite volume down to 7.88 billion shares compared to Monday. The average volume so far this year is 9.58 billion shares traded.
