The Taiwan stock market rebounded on Thursday, gaining almost 2% to finish above 22,375 points. Financial shares, technology stocks, plastics, and cement companies all saw gains. The global market forecast remains weak due to tariff concerns and the health of the world economy. The Wall Street closed slightly lower on Thursday, with the Dow slipping 0.03%, NASDAQ losing 0.33%, and S&P 500 falling 0.22%. The Federal Reserve’s decision to leave interest rates unchanged but lower GDP growth projections to 1.7% for 2025 raised concerns.
