Online ticket-reselling platform StubHub filed a prospectus for listing on the New York Stock Exchange after postponing plans for an IPO last summer. StubHub reported selling over 40 million tickets in 2024, with Gross Merchandise Sales of $8.68 billion, up 27% from the previous year.

In its Form S-1 filing with the SEC, StubHub disclosed a 2024 net loss of $2.8 million on revenue of $1.77 billion. In 2023, the company reported a profit of $405.2 million on revenue of $1.37 billion. Last July, StubHub delayed its IPO due to weak market conditions.

The company was aiming for a market valuation of approximately $16.5 billion through the offering. StubHub’s decision to move forward with listing on the NYSE comes after facing challenges in the market. Investors will be watching closely as the online ticket reseller navigates the public markets.
