Wallenius Wilhelmsen secures $2B contract extension with European automotive manufacturer

Roll-on/roll-off carrier Wallenius Wilhelmsen has secured contract changes worth over $2 billion. The Oslo-based company signed a $380 million five-year contract renewal with a European automotive manufacturer. Additionally, Wallenius announced a 10-year contract extension with an automotive OEM, remaining undisclosed. The extended contract, starting in April 2027, is estimated to generate $2 billion in gross revenue. The contracts cover a range of services including vehicle receiving, distribution, and digital supply chain insights. Both parties aim to expand the partnership further, integrating ocean services and digital solutions for operational efficiency.
