US President Donald Trump’s AI and crypto czar, David Sacks, announced plans for a White House summit with industry leaders and policymakers to discuss crypto and blockchain policy issues. XRP, SOL, and ADA are being explored for a strategic stockpile. Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse and other prominent figures are confirmed to attend.

Republican lawmakers under Trump have proposed a strategic crypto reserve, banning central bank digital currencies, and studying a digital asset regulatory framework. The SEC has dropped investigations against firms involving digital assets. Some Democratic lawmakers criticized Trump for launching a controversial memecoin project prior to taking office.

The summit at the White House will be the first large gathering of digital asset executives with Trump. Former FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried reportedly met with officials in the Biden administration. There are no details available on the summit agenda yet. Requests for comment from the White House and Hines have not been answered.
