ThredUp to release earnings, expected revenue decline, missed estimates in past

ThredUp (NASDAQ:TDUP) will be releasing earnings results tomorrow. Last quarter, ThredUp beat revenue expectations by 4.1%, reporting $73.02 million, down 11% YoY. It had a strong beat on EBITDA estimates but missed orders estimates with 1.55 million orders, down 13.9% YoY. Analysts anticipate a 15.3% revenue decline YoY to $68.93 million this quarter. ThredUp has missed revenue estimates six times in the last two years. Peers VF Corp and Under Armour have reported mixed Q4 results. Market optimism has been driven by a soft landing, recent rate cuts, and Trump’s 2024 election win. ThredUp’s stock price is down 4.7% in the last month, with an average analyst price target of $3 compared to the current $2.25 share price.
