Yum Brands CEO David Gibbs plans to retire in early 2026 after 36 years with the company. Yum, with brands like Taco Bell and Pizza Hut, has 61,000 restaurants in 155 countries. Gibbs, who became CEO in 2020, oversaw the opening of 4,535 new stores in 2024, up from 2,040 in 2019. He also implemented new technology, including a deal with Nvidia for automated ordering. Gibbs will lead the search for his successor.
