Asset manager 360 ONE WAM acquires UBS’ onshore wealth management business in India for Rs3.07bn ($36.9m), issuing 20.5 million warrants at Rs 1,030 per warrant. UBS to take 4.95% stake in 360 ONE. Deal includes stock broking, portfolio management, distribution businesses, and residual loan portfolio of UBS India’s wealth management clients.

Deal boosts 360 ONE WAM’s assets under management to approximately Rs260bn as of December 31, 2024. UBS Asia Pacific co-head Jin Yee Young sees collaboration as a strategic move to serve global Indian clients, enhancing wealth management activities in India. Partnership aims to provide onshore and offshore wealth management services to clients of both firms.

UBS and 360 ONE to explore joint initiatives in asset management, investment banking. UBS Singapore to serve 360 ONE clients in Singapore. Joint committee to oversee collaboration and seek further development opportunities. Collaboration aims to leverage UBS’s global capabilities with 360 ONE’s local expertise for enhanced client services.
