NVIDIA releases AI Blueprint for 3D-guided generative AI, empowering creators with advanced image generation
From NVIDIA: 2025-04-30 09:00:00
AI-powered image generation has made significant progress, creating photorealistic visuals. However, achieving creative control remains a challenge. NVIDIA introduced the AI Blueprint for 3D-guided generative AI at CES, allowing users to generate images with full composition control. The blueprint requires an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 GPU or higher.
The blueprint uses a draft 3D scene in Blender to provide a depth map to the image generator, FLUX.1-dev. This technique helps models understand object placement without detailed textures. ComfyUI, a powerful tool within the blueprint, allows creators to chain generative AI models in unique ways, enhancing creative control.
The NVIDIA AI Blueprint for 3D-guided generative AI includes everything needed to start an advanced image generation workflow, catering to AI artists and developers. It offers a structured pipeline with step-by-step documentation, sample assets, and a preconfigured environment. The blueprint acts as a foundation for building similar pipelines or expanding existing ones.
The FLUX.1-dev NIM microservice included in the blueprint for 3D-guided generative AI is optimized for NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs, offering more than doubled inference speeds over native PyTorch FP16. For users on NVIDIA Ada Lovelace generation GPUs, the FLUX.1-dev NIM microservice comes with FP8 variants, accelerated by TensorRT for high-performance workflows.
NVIDIA offers 10 NIM microservices for RTX, supporting various use cases like image and language generation. AI Blueprints and NIM microservices empower creators to customize and push the boundaries of generative AI on RTX PCs. The RTX AI Garage blog series showcases community-driven AI innovations and content for AI enthusiasts.
