Amazon has submitted a takeover bid for TikTok before the April 5 deadline, joining potential bidders like Blackstone and AppLovin Corp. President Trump has given ByteDance until Saturday to divest its U.S. TikTok business to a non-Chinese buyer. ByteDance is yet to confirm its plans or any talks with potential buyers.

TikTok, valued at $60 billion, faced a ban starting January 19 unless ByteDance sells it to a non-Chinese buyer. After the U.S. Supreme Court upheld the decision, TikTok started restoring services in the U.S. Trump signed an executive order delaying enforcement by 75 days, giving ByteDance time till Saturday to decide TikTok’s fate.
