Amcor has launched Liquiflex AmPrima flexible pouches in Europe for foodservice. Packaging reduces carbon emissions by 79% and uses 84% less water. They save space during storage and transit and are suitable for sauces, dressings, and proteins. Pouches can include recycled materials and be converted into refillable containers. Compliance with EU regulations may reduce fees and taxes. Recyclability depends on local infrastructure, suitable for regions with PE recycling systems. The product aligns with EU packaging waste policy changes, targeting key markets in France, Germany, and Spain. Amcor also introduced a paper-based stand-up pouch for dry beverage refills in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
