Blockchain firm Astar Network adjusts tokenomics to lower inflation. Base staking rewards reduced from 25% to 10% to stabilize APR. Changes ensure rewards remain meaningful without excessive inflation.

ASTR token operates with dynamic inflation model, no fixed supply. New inflation-control mechanisms introduced to stabilize value. Token emissions now linked to TVL-based rewards, with minimum emission threshold of 2.5%. Annual inflation rate reduced from 4.86% to 4.32%.

Astar Network’s ASTR token hits all-time low at $0.02 on April 7. Price 93.8% lower than peak of $0.42 in 2022. Token rallied in December 2024 to $0.09 before continuous drop. Changes in tokenomics aim to stabilize value and reduce inflation.
