The founders of Bankera used ICO funds to purchase luxury properties worldwide, including a bank in Vanuatu. The bank issued millions in loans for real estate. The trio reportedly also received loans for personal use. Bankera promised to be the “bank for the blockchain era” but under-delivered, with the BNK token value currently low.
Investors in Bankera’s ICO were attracted by promised discounts and weekly payouts, but the revenue-sharing scheme was halted in 2022. Bankera also failed to obtain a European Union banking license as promised. Despite raising 100 million euros, the BNK token value is currently at $975,710. Bankera still provides crypto-related services but faces challenges.
