Binance ends Tether USDT trading in Europe to comply with MiCA rules

Binance discontinues spot trading pairs with Tether’s USDt in the European Economic Area (EEA) to comply with MiCA regulations. Other non-compliant tokens delisted. Users can still custody affected tokens and trade in perpetual contracts. Kraken and other exchanges also delist non-MiCA-compliant tokens in the EEA, restricting USDT to sell-only mode. ESMA allows custody of non-MiCA-compliant tokens.
