Biotage AB has received a proposal from RWK BidCo AB, owned by KKR Funds, to acquire the company for SEK 11.607 billion, with an offer price of SEK 145 per share, representing a 60.1% premium. The board has recommended shareholders accept the offer, contingent on approval of a proposed dividend at the upcoming AGM. Major shareholders like Carnegie Fonder and SEB Asset Management have expressed intention to accept the offer. Lazard is the financial advisor and Advokatfirman Vinge is the legal advisor to Biotage in this acquisition deal.
