Kristin Smith, CEO of the US-based Blockchain Association, is leaving to join the Solana Policy Institute. The association announced her departure on May 16, with Smith set to become president of the Solana Policy Institute on May 19. No reason was given for the move in the announcement. Smith had been with the BA since 2018 and was previously deputy chief of staff for former Montana Representative Denny Rehberg. Miller Whitehouse-Levine, CEO of the DeFi Education Fund, will also be joining the Solana Policy Institute as CEO to educate US policymakers on Solana.
