Caddick Construction Group in the UK saw a 12% growth in annual turnover, reaching £356m in 2024. The company’s pretax profit also rose to £8m with a stable margin of 2.4%. The order book increased by 7% to £750m, and year-end cash rose to £32.8m.
The wider Caddick Group reported a consolidated turnover of £606m for 2023-24, marking a 23% increase in gross profit to £70m and net asset growth to £202m. The group secured key projects like the Schneider manufacturing facility in Scarborough and the Loreto Sixth Form College expansion in Manchester.
Caddick Construction Group’s annual results also encompass its subcontracting divisions’ performance: Caddick Civil Engineering and CCL Facades. These divisions showed sustainable growth in turnover and profitability. Jessica Harmen is leading the group’s ‘Places for Life’ strategy, focusing on ESG areas.
Managing director Paul Dodsworth highlighted the group’s operational and financial progress, aiming to balance the portfolio between public and private sectors. The group extended its commitment to positive impact in the areas it operates, making progress in reducing emissions. The strategy prioritizes stability and growth in key sectors for long-term success.
