Chemring Group’s unit, Roke, has secured a UK Ministry of Defence missile defence contract worth 251 million pounds over six years. The STORM contract will focus on countering current and future threats, including ballistic and hypersonic missiles, to provide security for the UK and its allies. Roke will lead a collaborative effort with industry partners to deliver the contract, informing critical UK defence decisions and developing next-generation missile defence capabilities. Chemring CEO, Michael Ord, highlighted the importance of effective missile defence in today’s security environment and Roke’s expertise in solving complex problems.
