Cofco International is recruiting dozens in Brazil as it builds its largest export port terminal in the world. This move highlights the country’s importance amid the U.S.-China trade war, benefiting Brazilian soybean sales to China. Competitors like Archer-Daniels-Midland Co and Cargill are cutting costs globally as Cofco expands in Brazil.

Cofco has job openings in operations, sales, trading, and administration. The company is already a major grain exporter in Brazil, with investments in the top soybean port, Santos. Its new grains terminal in Santos will increase export capacity to 14 million metric tons next year, up from 4.5 million tons.
