DayDayCook partners with Hewen Agricultural Technology in a $15m profit venture over 5 years in China. The JV aims to deliver ready-to-eat solutions to e-commerce platforms and restaurant chains. Hewen commits to an annual profit of 20m yuan in 2025 and beyond. DDC to issue restricted shares to Hewen.

Hewen plans to expand market reach on social media platforms like Douyin. DDC, founded in 2012, offers RTH, RTC, and RTE products. It has brands like Nona Lim and Omsom. Omsom, a US-based Asian cuisine business, was acquired by DDC. Hewen, founded in 2015, produces pre-made meal solutions with brands like Haidilao.

The JV between DDC and Hewen aims to set new benchmarks in China’s prepared-food industry. The partnership focuses on quality and scalability. DDC’s CEO Norma Chu believes the collaboration will meet the growing demand for high-quality meal solutions in China’s evolving food market.
