The U.S. Department of Justice is investigating Disney’s acquisition of a majority stake in FuboTV for potential antitrust concerns. The deal would create the second-largest online pay-TV company in North America, prompting scrutiny over market concentration. Disney’s planned sports streaming venture with Fox Corp and Warner Bros Discovery has since been discontinued. Senator Elizabeth Warren has urged the DOJ to closely examine the deal.
