Siemens AG has agreed to acquire Dotmatics, a provider of scientific software for life sciences R&D, for $5.1 billion. The transaction is set to close in the first half of fiscal year 2026, as approved by Siemens’ supervisory board. Dotmatics, known for its enterprise R&D platform and popular applications like GraphPad Prism and Geneious, serves over 2 million scientists and 14,000 customers globally. With a team of 800 professionals in 14 offices worldwide, Dotmatics aims to drive innovation and accelerate groundbreaking discoveries in the life sciences industry.
