Dutch Bros targets 2,029 stores by 2029

US drive-through coffee chain Dutch Bros plans to double its store count to 2,029 outlets by 2029, with over 7,000 stores potential in the US. The company hit 1,000 outlets in February 2025 across 18 states. Quarterly sales are exceeding expectations, driving momentum for future growth.

Dutch Bros CEO Christine Barone announced the expansion goal at the annual investor day, highlighting the brand’s strength and team dedication. Brian Cahoe, former KFC executive, was appointed as chief development officer to lead new store openings and growth strategy. The company opened 27 new stores in 2025, with more on the way.

In FY24, Dutch Bros saw total revenue grow to $1.28bn, with net income at $66.5m. The company opened 151 new shops, targeting 160 for 2025. Revenue projections for FY25 are between $1.55bn and $1.57bn, with capital expenditures expected to range from $240m to $260m.
