The Ethereum Foundation has restructured its leadership, with a new management team focused on executing visions while the board sets strategic direction. Hsiao-Wei Wang and Tomasz K. Stańczak were appointed as co-executive directors to champion censorship resistance, open-source innovation, privacy, and security.

Bastian Aue and Josh Stark are part of the management team, Vitalik Buterin and Aya Miyaguchi are on the board. Buterin provides technical guidance, Miyaguchi oversees the vision, and Storchenegger handles legal matters. The board selected Wang and Stańczak and can terminate their positions.

The Foundation’s main focus is scaling Ethereum. Over the next 12 months, they plan to scale the layer 1 and layer 2 of Ethereum, as well as improve user experience. Researchers Dankrad Feist and Sophia Gold have pitched proposals to address Ethereum’s scaling challenges.
