Global Payments stock plummeted 17% after announcing a $24.25 billion acquisition of Worldpay. FIS will acquire Global Payments’ Issuer Solutions for $13.5 billion. The combined company will have over 6 million customers and $3.7 trillion in annual payment volume. FIS stock rose 7% in response, while Global Payments reaffirmed its EPS forecast.
