GM is discontinuing Cadillac XT6 production in Tennessee, focusing on popular XT5 and electric vehicles.

General Motors is discontinuing production of the gasoline-powered Cadillac XT6 crossover at a Tennessee plant, but will continue producing the smaller XT5 until at least 2026, as part of their shift to all-electric vehicles. The XT6 had underwhelming sales, averaging 19,000 units annually, while the XT5 remains popular. Plant downtime and temporary layoffs are planned to adjust inventory.
