IBM has launched a Microsoft Practice within IBM Consulting to enhance digital transformation efforts for organizations. A team of over 33,000 Microsoft-certified professionals will support the initiative in markets where IBM Consulting operates. Businesses will have access to innovation in cloud, AI, data, and security, along with IBM’s global scale and capabilities through the IBM and Microsoft Experience Zones.

The Microsoft Practice offers end-to-end transformation capabilities with enterprise-grade security controls. Microsoft’s technologies will be integrated into IBM Consulting’s AI-enabled delivery platform, IBM Consulting Advantage. New solutions tailored to industries like retail, financial services, and government are expected to be introduced.

IBM’s latest mainframe hardware introduced in April 2025 supports AI across software, hardware, and systems operations. The move is part of IBM’s commitment to helping clients achieve meaningful business outcomes through digital transformation. The collaboration is designed to drive innovation and delivery excellence for clients.
