Enda O’Sullivan has been appointed as the new CEO of Irish whiskey distillery Church of Oak, bringing over 20 years of experience in the drinks industry. The distillery, founded in 2019, has been focused on redeveloping its site in County Kildare. With shareholders including U2’s Bono, the company has been producing whiskey since 2022 and is in advanced production stages. O’Sullivan succeeds Garrett Pitcher and aims to lead Church of Oak to the next level with his international industry expertise. The distillery plans to launch super-premium Irish Whiskey globally, though specific details are yet to be confirmed.
