Investor concerns rise over potential forced delisting of Chinese companies from U.S. exchanges amid escalating trade tensions. Chinese ADRs faced delisting pressure during Biden administration due to audit disputes. Over 100 Chinese companies listed in U.S. with $1 trillion market cap. PDD and Full Truck Alliance most vulnerable without secondary listings. Conversion to Hong Kong exchange may harm valuations and liquidity. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent says “everything’s on the table.” Hong Kong urged to be first choice for Chinese ADRs’ return. Daily turnover for all ADRs in MSCI China Index is about $8.1 billion.
