Kalmar has signed a deal with SSAB to provide five Kalmar Super Gloria reachstackers and maintenance services at the Oxelösund mill in Sweden, supporting SSAB’s green steel production. The machines will be delivered in Q2 2026. SSAB aims to reduce carbon dioxide emissions and transition to green steel production at the Oxelösund mill. The reachstackers will be used to transport scrap steel for the electric arc furnace, supporting SSAB’s commitment to sustainable steel production. The partnership between Kalmar and SSAB will play a key role in advancing fossil-free steel production.
