KPMG appoints Melissa Rocha, former SEC acting chief accountant, to its national office. Rocha brings 24 years of SEC experience, leading financial reporting policies and engaging with stakeholders. KPMG aims to provide critical insights and enhance audit quality with Rocha’s expertise.
In July 2025, Timothy Walsh and Atif Zaim will become KPMG’s US chair and deputy chair. They succeed Paul Knopp and Laura Newinski, leading a global network with 275,000+ employees in 142 countries. KPMG International Limited coordinates the independent entities within the network for seamless operations.
