Cryptocurrency exchange Kraken now offers foreign exchange perpetual futures contracts on its Kraken Pro platform, starting with EUR-USD and GBP-USD contracts. These contracts feature 20x leverage and no expiry date, blurring the line between digital assets and traditional financial products. Kraken previously launched spot forex trading and signed a deal to buy NinjaTrader for $1.5 billion. They also partnered with Mastercard to release a crypto debit card and introduced stock and ETF trading in select US states. Kraken is exploring a capital raise of up to $1 billion and may go public in 2026.
