The Thai stock market halted a three-day winning streak, dropping 1.41% to finish at 1,134.71. Concerns over a potential trade war caused global markets to open negatively. Wall Street also saw a significant sell-off, with the Dow dropping 2.48%. President Trump’s trade talks and attacks on the Fed Chair added to the negative sentiment. Crude oil prices fell 2.5% to $63.08 a barrel on reports of progress in U.S.-Iran negotiations and trade war worries. China has threatened retaliation against countries making trade deals with the U.S. at its expense.
