Chinese ETFs gained 1% to 4.6% despite trade tensions

China ETFs performed well on Wednesday despite escalating trade tensions between the US and China. Major China ETFs saw gains of 1% to 4.6% as President Trump imposed tariffs on Chinese goods. The KraneShares CSI China Internet ETF and iShares China Large-Cap ETF also saw gains despite recent outflows. The iShares MSCI China ETF rose 2.3% with $5.3 billion in assets under management. The Invesco China Technology ETF showed the strongest daily gain at around 5%. The Xtrackers Harvest CSI 300 China A-Shares ETF had the least monthly damage, down 12.4%. Overall, investor uncertainty remains high amid the evolving trade situation.
