Meta Platforms, Inc. reported a higher-than-expected profit of $16.644 billion, or $6.43 per share, for the first quarter, beating analyst estimates of $5.22 per share. The company’s revenue also increased by 16.1% to $42.314 billion from last year’s $36.455 billion. Next quarter revenue guidance is between $42.5 billion and $45.5 billion.
