Strategy, led by Michael Saylor, adds 6,556 Bitcoin to its portfolio with a $555.8 million purchase as Bitcoin nears $85,000. This latest acquisition brings Strategy’s total Bitcoin holdings to 538,200 BTC, acquired at an average price of $67,766 per coin, totaling $36.5 billion. The purchase was funded through stock offerings, including sales of Strategy shares and preferred stock.

This purchase follows Strategy’s previous acquisition of 3,459 BTC on April 14, marking the first buy since March 31. The firm paused Bitcoin buys between March 31 and April 6 as the price dropped below $87,000.
